Job Description

An enterprise level client is looking for a Sr. Information Cloud Security Architect to join their Information Security Organization to lead the strategic planning, implementation, and enhancement of the companies security framework.

This role requires strong technical skills and effective business leadership to develop a comprehensive security strategy across network, application, identity, data, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will ensure proactive cyber risk management and provide long-term solutions to protect information and systems from unauthorized access and other threats. This is a hybrid opportunity reporting 2 days onsite in Orange County, CA. Responsibilities below but are not limited to:

Cloud Security Architecture & Zero Trust Design: Implement Zero Trust models in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Governance Models for Security:

Application Security: Collaborate on secure software development and access controls.

Identity and Access Management (IAM): Design IAM policies, including JIT access and multi-factor authentication.

Data Governance: Protect sensitive data in cloud environments.

Cloud Security Risk Management: Identify and mitigate cloud security risks.

Cloud Security Posture Management: Use Prisma Cloud to monitor and improve security posture.

Security Automation & Orchestration: Integrate security controls into cloud workflows using IaC tools.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on cloud security threats and trends.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years in cloud security architecture, governance, and risk management (EntraID, Azure, AWS, GCP).

  Mature Security Automation & Orchestration

  Container Security Strategy

2+ years designing and implementing Zero Trust models (Design Zero Trust Governance model for securing data, identities and platform in the cloud)

Experience leading Arch Framework for Cloud Security Risk & Posture Management

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud.

Cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) and additional cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.

Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks (NIST, SOC 2, CIS, CSA, GDPR). null
