We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist located in Orange County, California. The role involves working within the construction industry and requires a background in collections. The successful candidate will be expected to manage high volume outbound calls, interact directly with suppliers and customers, and closely review subcontractor payment statements as well as accounts receivables. This role is fast-paced and requires a strong command of communication skills and an ability to multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Execute high volume outbound calls to manage collections effectively

• Establish and maintain direct communication with suppliers and customers to address their inquiries and concerns

• Review subcontractor payment statements meticulously to ensure accuracy

• Examine accounts receivables and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate

• Review and verify invoices or combinations of invoices to maintain proper record keeping

• Swiftly resolve any invoice discrepancies to ensure smooth financial operations

• Maintain focus and efficiency in a fast-paced environment

• Leverage experience in collections specifically within the construction industry to enhance job performance

• Utilize strong communication skills to manage customer relationships effectively

• Multitask efficiently to meet and exceed job expectations.

Requirements • Must possess skills in both Commercial and Consumer Collections

• Proficiency in Credit Collections is required

• Ability to handle and resolve Invoice Issues and Discrepancies

• Experience in reviewing and managing Vendor Invoices

• Keen eye for detail in reviewing invoices

• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Ability to identify and rectify any discrepancies in AR

• Must be able to efficiently manage and organize large volumes of invoices.
