Job Title: ChemistJob Description
We are seeking a highly skilled chemist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tasks including HPLC, TOC, LAL, bench testing, analytical chemistry analysis, and stability sample testing. This role involves assisting with the preparation, review, and publication of laboratory procedures, methods, and other documents, as well as executing methods and lab equipment qualifications and validations. Additionally, the chemist will be involved in method development and validation for HPLC instrumentation and performing quality control analysis for raw materials, drug products, stability testing, and final release testing. The ability to interpret and communicate results effectively is essential.
Responsibilities
Perform laboratory work involving HPLC, TOC, LAL, bench testing, analytical chemistry analysis, and stability sample testing.
Assist with preparing, reviewing, and publishing laboratory procedures, methods, and other documents.
Execute methods and lab equipment qualifications and validations.
Develop and validate methods for HPLC instrumentation.
Perform quality control analysis for raw materials, drug products, stability testing, and final release testing.
Interpret and communicate results effectively.
Author and revise SOPs, test methods, stability protocols, and specification documents.
Essential Skills
Experience with HPLC and method validation.
Proficiency in method development.
Knowledge of Empower 3 software.
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
3-5+ years of experience working in a pharmaceutical setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with TOC and LAL testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work Environment
The work environment is a small lab consisting of about 2-3 people. The lab is equipped with new HPLC machines, providing an excellent opportunity for growth and development. The company is undergoing a huge expansion and growth effort with new testing capabilities, aiming to bring chemistry testing in-house.
