Job Description
ANTICIPATED START DATE: THURSDAY, JANUARY 2, 2025
This professional, responsible position assists in various office and administrative duties for the Child Support Enforcement Hearing Officer (CSEHO). The CSEHO’s Assistant will be responsible for scheduling and preparing court calendars, screening telephone calls, and composing and typing correspondence, including reports for the CSEHO; reviewing family law cases and other duties assigned by the CSEHO. We are seeking candidates with experience in family law, the ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with the judiciary, court personnel, outside agencies, and most especially with the public. Must possess exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and effectively.
Education and Training Guidelines
One year of work experience in business administration, office skills, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis.
