The role:

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of web architecture, development, and service operation at the leader in fintech development. You’ll design innovative solutions to challenging issues that will enable millions of customers around the world to take greater control over their financial lives. In addition to tackling challenging problems yourself, you’ll mentor the top-flight engineering teams built around you and collaborate with peers on other teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Architect and implement scalable cloud-based solutions for web application delivery

  • Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration with various platforms and services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, including working with business leaders to define and refine and the right problem to solve

  • Troubleshoot difficult operational issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness, including solving problems entirely new to the group.

  • Mentoring developers for entry levels to staffs senior roles

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related experience field

  • Experience as a staff Web Developer with a minimum of 8+ years in a senior or lead role .

  • Extensive experience with cloud engineering and cloud-based applications, preferably in AWS

  • Expert in React/Typescript, Python, and PHP development

  • In-depth understanding of API development and integration.

  • Experience with front-end and back-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus/

    Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

US-Based Base Compensation

$172,800 — $297,000 USD
