Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineering Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test engineering, with a proven track record of leading teams to develop and implement robust testing strategies. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and Develop Test Fixtures: Design, develop, and implement test fixtures and equipment to support product testing and validation.

  • Benchmark Testing: Lead the execution of benchmark testing to evaluate product performance against industry standards and competitors.

  • Claims Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate product claims, ensuring they are substantiated through rigorous testing.

  • Test Procedure Development: Write detailed and accurate test procedures, ensuring consistency and repeatability in testing processes.

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of test engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, methodologies, and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product development, quality assurance, and other teams to ensure alignment on testing goals and deliverables.

  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation on test results, methodologies, and findings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in test engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in designing test fixtures, conducting benchmark tests, and writing detailed test procedures.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex engineering problems.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: six sigma

  • Software Proficiency: Experience with test automation software and tools.

  • Project Management: Experience in managing large-scale testing projects from inception to completion.
