Robert Half Social Media Specialist in San Ramon, California

Robert Half, one of FORTUNE’s World’s Most Admired Companies and a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For is hiring a Social Media Specialist who will support our employee advocacy program. This individual will aid in critical day-to-day operations, contribute to impactful content ideation and strategy, and identify synergies with brand social to drive channel growth and performance efforts.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, organized and strategic communicator with experience in social media, who also possesses strong copywriting skills. We’re seeking someone who doesn’t believe in settling, wants to work on a team where their input and ideas are always valid and whose goal is to always level up their work. A proactive team player is a must – someone who effectively collaborates with stakeholders to create impactful social media content, delivers strategic insights, and enthusiastically helps grow our employee advocacy program through improving content, training, and gamification.

Key responsibilities include:

  • IDEATE: Assist with the creation of employee advocacy posts and broadcasts via our employee advocacy tool, Dynamic Signal, that are segmented to the right audience, and are on tone and on brand.

  • GET CREATIVE: Work closely with our in-house social media content creator and design partners to help create social-forward, evergreen posts to support key business priorities throughout the year. Work within Canva to iterate simple, easy to grasp assets that complement creative suite, and develop accompanying copy.

  • LEVEL UP LEVEL UP LEVEL UP: Assist in executing strategies to grow Dynamic Signal usage and engagement. This includes creating and improving trainings for users and publishers, helping to manage and launch gamification campaigns, user focus groups, publisher focus groups, surveys, etc.

  • PUBLISH: Aide with publisher and user onboarding, responding to customer care support inquiries and/or escalating issues as needed.

  • COLLAB: Serve as a crucial liaison between the social media team and stakeholder groups to translate stakeholder priorities into winning social media campaigns.

  • KEEP IT FRESH: Maintain the platform’s back-end logistics and details including expired content, tags, users and publishers.

  • IDENTIFY INSIGHTS & INSPO: Helps to gather meaningful analytics that will aid the department in understanding actionable insights for future campaigns. Identify popular brand channel content that can be recreated for our uses.

  • FLEX: Socialize and encourage adoption of our strategies, templates and content with our international marketing and communications partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Communications and/or Organic Social Media and/or Employee Advocacy.

  • Project management exposure and communications skills with high initiative and the ability to work across teams.

  • Previous experience with Employee Advocacy tools is preferred. Our tool is Dynamic Signal, but experience with Advocacy by Sprout Social, EveryoneSocial, Post Beyond, Sociabble, Hootsuite Amplify, etc. is also a plus.

  • Copywriting experience in the social media and content strategy space, who is adept at writing a social post in multiple tones, with different CTAs to support the various personas of our users.

  • Comfortable helping to develop presentations to stakeholders or leadership.

  • Active on social media, particularly on LinkedIn.

  • Adept at creating low lift, impactful content using Canva and working with our content creator or design resources to ideate and deliver meaningful, engaging content.

  • Proficient with MS Office suite, Smartsheet and Basecamp or similar project management tools.

  • Willingness to develop understanding of industry trends, as well as company priorities, issues, and news to ensure effective contributions to communications planning and execution.

  • Previous experience contributing to social media account management including creating organic assets and copy and developing content strategy.

  • Analytical and reporting abilities; can collect meaningful data, make sense of it, and use it to develop strategic insights that guide programs moving forward.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.

$66,000.00 - $96,000.00
