ENTRUST Solutions Group Control Systems Engineer III in San Ramon, California

Description

EN Automation, a division of ENTRUST, provides comprehensive and dependable automation solutions to natural gas & oil pipeline infrastructures, gas distribution, chemical processing, electric power generation & distribution, food & beverage processing, and various types of manufacturing facilities. Our Control System Engineers develop sophisticated industrial automation, plant control, database and data communication applications, using state-of-the-art software.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge in process controls, P&IDs, and instrumentation/control equipment

  • Collaborates and communicates with team, supervisor, and clients

  • Contributes to the design and development for assigned projects

  • Perform startups, troubleshooting and commissioning support at client location

  • Demonstrates time management, problem solving, and organizational skills with each assigned project

  • Provides application/control systems design and development for systems of varying complexity

  • Performs programming and engineering tasks in supportive and leading roles at all stages of projects

  • Actively develops and maintains relationships with new and existing clients

  • Provides training and mentoring to CSE I/II while also providing guidance and direction

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of experience working with control systems

  • Experience working with process controls, P&IDs, and instrumentation/control equipment

  • Experience with control panel engineering and field commissioning
