Insight Global Biologist II - LPS 2 in San Ramon, California
Job Description
We are looking for a Biologist to join our Evergreen division. This role includes the preparation, research, review, and editing of technical documents, such as habitat conservation plans, environmental assessments, environmental impact statements, and environmental and technical reports. Responsibilities will also include analyzing and summarizing data from wildlife field surveys and habitat assessments for a variety of species and incorporating that information into larger documents. Other duties include, but are not limited to, participating in multi-disciplinary environmental assessments; recording, entering, organizing, managing, and analyzing data, writing technical reports for client and regulatory agency review; and attending client and regulatory agency meetings and providing recommendations and input.

Skills and Requirements
- BS/BA degree in Natural Resources, Botany, Biology, Ecology, or related sciences with direct application to current job responsibilities.
- 4 years of relevant industry or resource agency experience
- Possesses intermediate-level knowledge of principles related to job responsibilities
- Possesses an intermediate-level knowledge and understanding of local standards and ordinances, as well as state, and federal laws that pertain to terrestrial resources
- Possesses an intermediate-level knowledge and understanding of PG&Es HCPs and other Programmatic Permits/ Agreements.
- Effectively manages small to medium sized projects or tasks (scope, schedule and budget). Effectively manages multiple assignments concurrently.
- Prepares reports and provides recommendations to business partners based on an analytical approach.
- Demonstrated process and procedures improvement
- Possesses a working knowledge of a broad range of North Valley or North Coast special status species and/or wetland delineation methods - Master of Science Degree in natural resources, ecology, wildlife, or related biological field; or a Bachelor of Science Degree and relevant.
- Experience with Salesforce and SAP
