Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team in the non-profit industry, located in San Mateo, California. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our company, providing administrative support across the organization. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Act as point of contact for incoming phone calls and manage an active switchboard.

• Handle email correspondences with vendors and tenants, ensuring clear and effective communication.

• Provide assistance in processing compliance paperwork and applications to maintain organizational efficiency.

• Utilize Microsoft Office suite to complete necessary tasks and manage information.

• Maintain and organize files for easy access and retrieval.

• Manage mail processing tasks, ensuring all incoming and outgoing mail is handled efficiently and accurately.

• Leverage basic office skills to optimize administrative operations.

• Prioritize multiple tasks effectively to ensure all responsibilities are met in a timely manner. Requirements • Proficiency in operating switchboards and managing phone lines (1-10 lines)

• Demonstrated experience with basic office skills

• Ability to effectively use email for communication

• Familiarity with filing systems and record keeping

• Experience in mail processing and distribution

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
