Warehouse Technician IV

Our work depends on Warehouse Technician IV joining our team to run the warehouse facility in San Marcos, TX from a day to day operations stand point and controlling all customer and GDIT purchased materials while maintaining 100% accurate inventory and in control of all inventory inbound and outbound out of the warehouse. Will be responsible for the security of the facility and coordination of all deliveries inbound or outbound and might have to work out of normal hours and weekends as required

HOW A WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN IV WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

● Receives and stores materials in a warehouse or storage facility.

● Will be working with the customer AT&T and also with GDIT Operations team and GDIT Self-Perform Construction crews on a daily basis

●Will be working with several different GDIT departments on a daily basis to ensure the proper materials are received and delivered

● AT&T is highly involved daily with making sure inventory is 100% accurate and we have to scan and update AT&T monthly and any missing asset creates a demand claim to AT&T with financial penalties

● Responsible for the warehouse facility and all assets inside and outside in the secure yard

●Use of GDIT inventory system Trovu and AT&T inventory system called VAST and all inventory has to be scanned every 60 days and then scanned to the contractor taking the asset to the specific sites

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: High School Diploma/GED

● Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience

● Required Technical Skills: Ability to handle high volume of e-mails and inventory and keep this accurate and need to be very proficient with computer and GD inventory system called Trovu and AT&T Customer system called VAST

● Security Clearance Level: None Needed

● Required Skills and Abilities: Good communication skills and the ability to muti task and handle high volume of work

● Preferred Skills: Ability to work a problem and resolve as the leader of the warehouse and clear communications when help is needed

● Location: San Marcos, TX

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $56,100.00 - $75,900.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
