Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Vice President ( AVP ) of Global Operations, the Assistant Vice President (Assistant VP) of Global Operations will help manage some of the unit’s implementation portfolio to ensure the successful completion of important tactical and strategic initiatives to help accomplish divisional and university goals. As directed and on an ever-changing basis, the role will perform research and deployment of new technology solutions within the division and assist the AVP with facilitating efficient and effective divisional operations.

Responsible for identifying existing business inefficiencies, as well as barriers to student success, and to work collaboratively with appropriate stakeholders to address these issues and improve the division’s overall operational effectiveness and efficiency. In addition, the Assistant VP will oversee the divisional IT unit.

Job Duties

  • Facilitate the successful implementation of a number of new tactical and strategic initiatives within the AVP portfolio.

  • Improve current operational efficiency and effectiveness within the unit

  • Oversee divisional IT unit

  • Represent division/university on university committees, task forces, and working groups; inter-university bodies; and outside groups.

  • The demonstration of effective decision-making skills that serve as an example to others.

  • Executing required actions efficiently and effectively.

  • Ensuring timely action and accomplishment of goals by all concerned parties in cross-cutting endeavors.

  • Assist the AVP with generating new streams of revenue for TXST Global.
