Aerotek Quality Inspector in San Marcos, California

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

This is a Quality Inspector position where you will be testing gloves to ensure they meet company standards and are not damaged in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure manufacturing processes are being followed and products meet company standards.

  • Inspect raw materials through routine inspections and reject all unsuitable materials.

  • Perform a wide variety of tests such as visual inspection, air leak test, and non-destructive testing.

  • Use inspection tools, primarily calipers.

  • Operate machinery to test gloves.

  • Use a computer (Microsoft Excel and Word) to enter and track data.

Essential Skills

  • Quality experience (must have)

  • Experience using calipers (must have)

  • Basic computer skills using Microsoft applications (must have)

Work Environment

Shift: Thursday - Monday, 2pm - 10:30pm. Training will be on the first shift for two weeks (8am - 5pm), then move to 10am - 7pm for two weeks before going to the second shift. The work environment is temperature-controlled with a small team of about six people. Employees will wear a lab coat while on the manufacturing floor, which has a scent similar to paint.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
