Our client is hiring a Staff Accountant. This company is looking for an experienced individual who has worked within construction as an accountant!

• TYPE: Contract(Potential for conversion) 20 hours per week

• LOCATION: 100% Onsite in San Leandro

• PAY: Depending on experience

• SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

The ideal candidate has experience with Quickbooks and Job Costing!

salary: $30 - $35 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 12 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Track and allocate material, labor, and overhead costs to projects, and monitor budgets and profitability.

• Process payroll, calculate wages, manage deductions, and ensure compliance with tax and labor laws.

• Reconcile bank accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate transaction recording.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare financial statements, and ensure tax compliance.

• Prepare and submit timely tax payments and filings (federal, state, and local).

• Handle billing and collections for completed projects, ensuring accurate invoicing.

• Maintain records of timecards, payroll reports, and financial documents.
