The Supervisor, Claims Processing reviews and adjudicates complex or specialty claims, submitted either via paper or electronically. The Supervisor, Claims Processing works within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures; uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems; collaborates with management and top professionals/specialists in selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approach.

The Supervisor, Claims Processing determines whether to return, deny, or pay claims following organizational policies and procedures. Decisions are typically are related to schedule, plans and daily operations. Performs escalated or more complex work of a similar nature, and supervises a group of typically support and technical associates; coordinates and provides day-to-day oversight to associates. Ensures consistency in execution across team. Holds team members accountable for following established policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree

• 4 - 6 years of related experience

• Previous supervisory and /or leadership experience

• Applied knowledge of insurance processing,

• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Programs, e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access

• Previous experience with coordinating and leading projects and tasks

• Demonstrated capability with coaching and developing associates formally and informally

• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

• Bilingual

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising virtual associates

• CAS experience

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$44,500 - $60,700 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
