Liberty Latin America BSS/OSS Commercial Specialist in San Juan, Puerto Rico

What´s the role?

In this role, you will be part of the effort with multi-functional teams to analyze, recommend, design, and apply improvement principles to new and existing processes to achieve key business objectives across commercial operations. You’ll have a solid understanding of business processes, available data, reporting capabilities and the IT systems that support those processes. Lead partners process changes to provide continuous improvement in systems workflow including customer’s journeys, sales lead to cash, operational procedures, and other related business areas.

How can you add value?

  • Bring strong analytical skills to the program, including a deep understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into detailed user stories and functional and operational specifications.

  • Design, manage, and continue to grow an internal digital innovation ecosystem.

  • Translate efficiently business needs into business processes or concepts into technical requirements for the developers to implement solutions (and vice versa).

  • Recommend changes and/or enhancements to simplify processes to make them more agile.

  • Build out key elements into the digital tool for Prospecting, Sales, Customer Cross Selling and Referral templates.

  • Analyze and monitor the standard methodologies with existing customers to help ensure that retention levels are as high as possible.

  • Capture and analyze data and metrics to evaluate and report on current operations and processes.

  • Coordinate and make recommendations for implementation of new or revised policies, procedures, and/or process changes and improvements.

  • Collaborate with internal partners and business units to evaluate and analyze current process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities.

  • Handle external contractors and in-house staff to ensure they produce on deadline and communicate the progress of task to team members and other partners.

  • Ensure process integrity, test system changes, facilitate training sessions for users, write user documentation, define reports, and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities.

  • Demonstrate and ensure compliance with Liberty Latin America Privacy Policy, Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America’s policies, and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.

  • Other functions may be assigned.

What do you need?

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

  • A combination of between 2-5 years’ experience in business operations, business planning, project or proposal management, business modeling/mapping, business process development, leading organizational change initiatives and communications.

  • Experience in process mapping and reengineering for configure price quote (CPQ), order management (OM), user interface (UI), user experience (UX).

Other Qualifications:

  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English).

  • Process and detail oriented, with ability to analyze business user requirements and create manageable system design and/or process solutions.

  • BSS (Real time and converged solutions, Billing, Portals, Campaign mgmt., EAI and CRM)

  • OSS (Fulfillment, Assurance, EAI, customer experience management).

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills to identify processes, systems or training issues.

  • Proven ability assess business needs/rules and translate them into relevant proposals.

  • Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility.

  • Excellent verbal, written communication with the ability to empathize and deliver clear concise messaging, including manipulating data, creating reports, visualizations, and presentations from scratch.
