A Brief Overview
The Analytics and Business Intelligence Manager (“ABI Manager”) oversees the Bank’s corporate data analytics, business reporting / performance monitoring, and customer segmentation initiatives intended to drive business decisions, improve customer engagement, and enhance overall business performance. The ABI Manager is responsible for the development of the Bank's customer segmentation analyses by leveraging data analytics and customer relationship management tools, while designing and deploying key customer acquisition and product usage optimization campaigns in coordination with business areas.
The ABI Manager leads a cross-functional team of data and business intelligence officers that work closely with other business functions to facilitate data-driven decision making and provide actionable insights that result in superior corporate performance and enhanced profitability and efficiency levels.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Lead corporate-wide efforts to improve the Bank’s data analytics capabilities and execute roadmap to address existing data management gaps and challenges to ultimately support better decision making and enhance business results
Develop, deploy and monitor the Bank’s product cross-selling strategy for consumer and retail products to enhance business and product profitability.
Conduct periodic assessment of the Bank’s customer segmentation by business, product and region through the development of robust data analytics.
Develop predictive models to better identify customer behavior and next best products to sell and analyze portfolio indicators and customer behavior trends to identify growth and retention opportunities
Analyze competitive information such as product features/benefits, promotional offers, interest rates and pricing.
Coordinate with business units, compliance and marketing department to achieve most efficient and effective customer acquisition and usage optimization campaigns / Define and deploy the Bank’s product campaign program.
Support management and business areas in the execution of the Bank’s Strategic Plan to enhance, manage and increase the profitability of the Corporation
Support Corporate Architecture and Information Technology teams in the design and deployment of relevant capital projects, mostly related to the execution of the Bank’s corporate-wide data strategy
Other Responsibilities
· Contributes to the Strategy Management team’s effort, supporting additional initiatives as needed.
· Supports the completion of corporate special projects as requested.
· Assists in the development of the annual budget and other business projections.

Minimum Requirements You’ll Need:
· Minimum of 8 to 10 years of recent experience in a similar position.
· Proven knowledge and understanding of regulations and laws that apply to consumer banking products
· Fully bilingual (English and Spanish) with excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong experience using Python, RStudio or other programming language to manipulate data, visualize and draw insights from large data sets.
· Strong knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (SVM, decision trees, random forest, neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
· Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical testing, etc.).
· Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
· Experience with visualization tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, etc
· Data Science & Advanced Analytics: proficient technical knowledge in data management tools with keen sense in statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
· Analytical & Critical Thinking: outstanding problem identification and solving skills with excellent critical thinking capabilities
· Business acumen: knowledgeable of the banking industry key business drivers, while being able to connect with stakeholders to gain a full understanding of the problems in need of solutions.
· Storytelling insights: communicate actionable insights using data, often for a non-technical audience
· Inquisitiveness: self-directed and self-motivated with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently manage multiple tasks and priority management.
