Job purpose

Under general supervision, supports daily production activities of Machine Operators. Performs a wide variety of SMT production activities as assigned. Provide daily assistance to Machine Operators on basic set-up of loading of feeders. Must be flexible to support a small companys goals and may have other duties as assigned by manager.

Duties and responsibilities

• Set up and load feeders in a timely manner
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Assist as needed in various areas of production

Qualifications

• Familiar in manufacturing / production processes
• Must read, write and understand English, understanding verbal and written instructions. Good visual skills.
• Finger dexterity required
• Ability to operate a variety of machine tools, perform difficult set-ups,
• Ability to use precision-measuring instruments and perform shop math calculations.
• Good communication skills.

Additional Knowledge and Related Experience a plus.:

• Reading Documentation, Drawings; BOM assembly, ECO
• Recognize Electronic Components such as ICs, Res, Caps, Diodes, Etc.
