Real Estate & Development (RE&D) Finance is looking for an intellectually curious, self-starter that is highly motivated to support construction activities around the world. This role is an integral partner to the RE&D team, supporting business activities and analyzing cost drivers and savings opportunities for construction projects. Our business partners are driven to seamlessly deliver remarkably phenomenal Apple experiences, and we support them in accomplishing that. Description

  • Create and analyze financial reporting for capital projects to ensure accuracy, insight and cost saving controls - Execute annual budgeting and drive quarterly actuals/forecasting activities - Analyze vendor health and provide mitigation recommendations - Support and drive improvements to our current business processes - Develop and innovate executive reporting and simplify and streamline existing reporting - Partner with many cross-functional and global business partners including Real Estate & Development, Technical Accounting, Legal, Tax and Global Business Solutions - Perform ad hoc analysis as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of work experience in Finance, Accounting or equivalent

  • Bachelor's Degree

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional finance experience in Construction finance, with a background in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis

  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with phenomenal attention to detail and ability to think creatively

  • Be a self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Build effective business partnerships and be an excellent collaborator

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and strong financial modeling skills; Experience with Tableau and SQL strongly preferred

  • Experience with enterprise software systems and databases (i.e, SAP, Essbase, BPC)

  • Fundamental understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

  • MBA and CPA a plus

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,300 and $161,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
