Posting Title: Procurement Systems Analyst

Reports To: Sr. Director of Procurement

Location: San Jose, California

Salary Range: $85,000 to $115,000

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on several factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. THE PURCHASING TEAM

Cupertino Electric’s Purchasing Team manages all equipment and materials purchases for both job sites and corporate expenditures. This includes vetting vendors and establishing and maintaining relationships with new and loyal suppliers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Procurement Systems Analyst will oversee all aspects of procurement systems operations, reporting, and data integrity. The scope of this role includes the configuration and daily support of Procurement applications, developing applications and reports to facilitate operational efficiency, and performing complex data mining and analytics from various systems.

The Analyst will drive the implementation of new functionalities and improve existing functionalities including articulating, examining requirements, and translating them into effective solutions. You will be the keeper of all purchasing system issues and work with appropriate support teams to resolve in a timely manner. This role will work closely with business partners and IT teams to remedy and improve applications and systems performance.

Additionally, you will work with development teams to implement solutions including schedules, design, and functional specifications, and prepare and conduct Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing scripts.

Other responsibilities include the following:

  • Power Platform Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, Dataverse, Dataflows development and implementation.

  • Responsible for working on projects involving integrating JDE with other procurement applications.

  • Responsible for Item Master and Supplier Catalog Pricing data integrity and timeliness.

  • Work with development teams to implement solutions including schedules, design, and functional specifications, and prepare and conduct Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing scripts.

  • Build and maintain Training documentation and impart training to end users.

  • Manage reporting requirements and ensure periodic reporting against organizational KPIs.

ABOUT YOU

You are highly autonomous with a keen eye for identifying problems and solutions to resolving them. You bring over (5) five years of experience with exceptional knowledge in Procurement or ERP systems, JDE preferred. You have experience with development and implementation of Power Platform Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Dataflows, SharePoint Power Apps, and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook. In addition to your technical skills, you have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. In this role, attention to detail is crucial, along with the ability to prioritize and work in a deadline-sensitive and customer service-oriented environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.

License: None required.

Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience required in lieu a of Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
