Description

We are a well-respected firm in San Jose, in search of an experienced Paralegal with a focus on Probate and Trust Administration. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in managing complex probate and trust administrations. This role demands an individual with a deep understanding of estate and gift tax returns, asset valuation, and the preparation of fiduciary accountings.

Responsibilities:

• Work on intricate probate and trust administrations, from the initial petition to the final distribution.

• Coordinate asset valuation, document preparation, and asset allocation/distribution.

• Review and prepare estate and gift tax returns.

• Review and prepare fiduciary accountings.

• Organize and maintain files diligently.

• Draft petitions, orders, and other pleadings related to probate and trust administration.

• Prepare deeds and related real estate documents.

• Form and fund legal entities while maintaining compliance with the law.

• Use skills such as Estate Tax Return, Probate & Estate Administration, Deeds, and Asset Allocation to perform tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar role

• Demonstrated expertise in Estate Tax Return preparation

• Proficiency in Probate and Estate Administration

• Experience with Deeds and Asset Allocation processes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Paralegal certification required
