Enviri Corporation Operations Manager in San Jose, California

Harsco is recognized for technical leadership and worldwide experience in virtually all major aspects of railway track maintenance. Skills and Competencies:

Strong leadership and managerial skills, with experience in managing employees to achieve targets while maintaining employee engagement.

Understanding of production scheduling, capacity, constraints & resource utilization.

Experience in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and PCA (Permanent Corrective Action).

Accountable for process ownership and measuring outputs (KPI)

Effectively drive continuous improvement with a clear understanding of change management.

Proficiency in production management software and other relevant IT tools.

Ability to manage budgets, analyze production data, and improve efficiency.

Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.

Proficiency in MS Office

Responsibilities:

Manages day-to-day operations of the production floor to ensure efficient and effective production processes.

Oversees the maintenance of equipment and ensuring it operates safely and efficiently.

Coordinates with production scheduling to meet production goals and deadlines.

Implements continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and efficiency.

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

These requirements ensure that the Operations Manager can effectively lead the production team, maintain high standards of quality and safety, and contribute to the overall success of Harsco Rail's operations​.

Salary Range: $110,000-140,000

A preferred bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing/industrial engineering, or a related field.

5-10 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably within the rail industry or a similar heavy equipment sector.
