As a Marketing Specialist intern working in the Mobile Business Unit, you will complete our annual marketing plan that aligns to the business strategy, co-marketing engagement and partnerships, and analyzing campaign results and metrics to provide recommendations and provide insights and recommendations for future campaigns.

The role will be located in the San Jose campus and will report to the Senior Manager of Marcomm.

Your focus will be on crafting, implementing and analyzing the results of coordinated marketing plans. The following marketing skills will be applied: Developing messaging, briefing the creative studio team, and partnering with teams to complete Digital marketing, Social media, and press releases. Marketing campaigns consist of major tent pole events such as product and technology events, tradeshows, co-marketing and awareness campaigns.

You will work together with the engineering and global corporate marketing team to acquire data points, product value propositions and to build assets that deliver on the specific marketing campaign.

This role offers the opportunity to sharpen your technical marketing skill while completing multifaceted and innovate marketing campaigns for internal and external consumption to the mobile ecosystem (OEMs, chipset vendors, analysts/press/social media influencers).

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Implement custom marketing campaigns.

  • Partner with product marketing, engineering, and other relevant teams to identify key data points for marketing partnership. Work closely with the team to brief them on goals and key messages for each marketing activation.

  • Supervise and recommend new opportunities to amplify the team with customers and partners (Design wins/chipset launches)

  • Develop demo and messaging for Mobile World Congress (Annual mobile focused tradeshow in Barcelona)

  • Partner with social media and industry analysts to develop content for interviews and social media videos.

  • Project lead campaigns from inception to execution, assisting in leading project tracking meetings.

  • Supervise each campaign with data points to show the value/return on investment of each project.

Ideal candidate qualifications:

  • A foundational knowledge of mainstream memory technologies such as DRAM, NAND, NOR, or MCP.

  • Understanding and curiosity about smartphone sector and ecosystem.

  • A Creative who can acquire and resolve technical topics into outbound facing marketing.

  • Successful teamworks in a multifaceted, multi-tasking team environment.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team building skills.

Education:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field, with a minor in business or marketing.

  • You are current student and should not be scheduled to graduate before December2025

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$33.23 - $42.42

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
