In this role, you will collaborate closely with our development teams to design, implement, and maintain AI/ML solutions that tap into data generated from workloads managed by IBM Information Management System (IMS) running on z/OS to enable and then deliver AI-based insights and guidance to our clients, improving their business outcomes.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields

• Knowledge in designing, building, deploying, and/or maintaining software/ML solutions

• Knowledge in building web and mobile applications and/or integrating RESTful APIs

• Programming experience with Python, JavaScript, or Java

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Results-oriented team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across multiple teams

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Knowledge in building machine learning workflows necessary to productize AI platforms and enable self-service AI solutions

• Knowledge about z/OS and development and testing on z/OS environment

• Knowledge about Transaction Managers and Database Management

• Understanding of source control management tools (GitHub) and Agile Life Cycle Management
