What You'll Do:

As the Strategic Growth Leader, you will orchestrate our efforts to shape and drive the long-term growth strategy for our SaaS-based solutions. Your mission will be to design and implement go-to-market (GTM) strategies that accelerate growth, enhance efficiency, and improve our driven edge across all markets.

  • Develop Growth Strategy: Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Business Unit leadership to craft a robust, long-range growth strategy.

  • Innovate GTM Models: Evaluate and redesign existing GTM models to drive efficiency and competitive advantage.

  • Accelerate SaaS Transformation: Lead initiatives to transform our GTM approach for SaaS-based offerings.

  • Thought Leadership: Provide expert guidance on segmentation, coverage models, sales motions, and compensation design.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Direct cross-functional teams to deliver actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Representation: Advocate for Splunk within the broader Cisco sales and sales operations community.

  • Annual Planning: Participate in global and regional planning to operationalize GTM initiatives and mitigate risks.

Who You'll Work With:

You will collaborate with a diverse set of leaders across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Business Units to align our strategies and drive our growth initiatives. Your role will involve teamwork with:

  • Sales Teams: To understand market needs and optimize sales motions.

  • Operations: To ensure seamless execution of strategic plans.

  • Finance: To align growth strategies with financial objectives.

  • Business Unit Leadership: To integrate product and market insights into GTM strategies.

Who You Are:

You work for a mid-to-large sized tech company, where you've been instrumental in driving the GTM strategy. You have a proven track record of leading large, distributed teams to success, ensuring alignment across multiple departments such as Sales, Operations, and Finance. You possess deep expertise in SaaS business models and key performance metrics. Your experience with channel sales, including resell, MSP, MSSP, and Service Provider channels, sets you apart. You excel in drawing insightful business conclusions from sophisticated data sets, and your strong executive-level presence enables

you to present compelling recommendations and influence partners effectively. You bring your authentic self to work, contributing to our inclusive and diverse environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in sales strategy or management consulting.

  • 5+ years of experience with SaaS business models and key performance metrics (e.g., customer acquisition cost, churn rate).

  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales, including working with resellers, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).

Preferred Skills:

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to draw business conclusions from multiple data inputs and build credible recommendations.

  • Communication: Strong executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in creating compelling presentations.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence partners at all levels.
