Apple's Real Estate & Development Organization is seeking an experienced leader to lead our AMR Space Planning team. In this role you will drive the strategy and ongoing optimization of Apple’s corporate space portfolio across the Americas. Apple's Space Planning Team works with cross-functional business partners including senior Business Unit leaders, Real Estate, Facilities, Project Management, Site Services, Legal, and Finance to accomplish our business objectives. You are a highly motivated and proactive problem solver with extensive management experience who can think strategically and stay connected to integral partners, while motivating and encouraging the team. You possess excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of integrity, initiative, creativity, attention to detail; and a dedication to partnership and excellence.

Description

As the AMR Space Planning Manager, you will lead Apple’s space planning strategy for the Americas region, including market-based and organization-based analysis, planning and execution to optimize space utilization. You will partner with senior leadership to understand business needs and translate those needs into actionable space requirements that support strategic objectives. Develop and implement innovative solutions that reflect the latest trends in workplace design and technology. Lead space allocation, including forecasting future needs to advise real estate expansion and consolidation strategies. Provide mentorship and leadership to a team of space planners and will report into the Senior Manager for Global Space Planning and Workplace Analytics.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience

  • 5+ years of space planning experience

  • 5+ years of management experience

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead, encourage, and mentor teams

  • Experience leading negotiations

  • Strong financial and analytical skills

  • BA/BS or equivalent

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,900 and $269,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
