Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in San Jose, California. The role primarily involves managing outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy in invoice processing, and maintaining comprehensive financial records. The Accounts Payable Specialist will also handle vendor communications and use their proficiency in accounting software, especially RealPage, to execute their tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and prompt processing of outgoing payments.

• Manage and reconcile vendor accounts, addressing any discrepancies that may arise.

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues related to invoice and payment.

• Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions.

• Verify invoices for accuracy and proper authorization before processing.

• Use RealPage and other accounting software to accurately record payment transactions in the accounting system.

• Monitor all accounts payable ledgers to ensure payments are properly posted and accounted for.

• Review invoices to confirm their accuracy before processing.

• Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for efficient management of accounts payable.

• Use strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively handle vendor communications. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management is required

• Experience in General Accounting is essential

• Capability to process invoices effectively and efficiently

• Ability to review and verify the accuracy of invoices

• Strong knowledge and experience in using RealPage software

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors

• Ability to handle confidential information

• Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
