The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Application Developer to join our Digital Delivery Group. The Digital Delivery team develops custom Microsoft Cloud applications for the San Francisco FRB to use across various business lines with local and national scope.

In the role of Senior Application Developer, you will design, develop, and implement high quality technology solutions using the latest Microsoft Cloud Technologies such as Power Platform and Dynamics 365 . You will work closely with business users to understand business needs and requirements. You will work closely with other Digital Delivery team members, members of Federal Reserve National IT organizations, and business liaisons.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions built in Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Power Automate

  • Design and implement new features, modules or application components that support and integrate with MS Teams and Power Platform

  • Develop flows and automation with Power Automate to increase efficiency and effectiveness of organization.

  • Develop easy-to-use interfaces and forms in Power Apps to drive business processes.

  • Develop rich and compelling dashboards and reports in Power BI.

  • Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand, and document business and technical requirements.

  • Create process, technical architecture, design, and user guide documentation.

  • Support design of Power Platform roadmaps.

  • Create estimations on effort required to develop Power Platform based solutions.

  • Effectively and efficiently remediate defects, implement enhancements, and work with customers to resolve issues

  • Assists in defining development guidelines and standards

  • Ensures all applications are documented according to standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar technical discipline or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of experience working with Power Platform solutions in an enterprise environment

  • 2+ Years of Building apps with Power Automate

  • 1-3 years Dynamics 365 and Azure integrations

  • Understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle, from smoke test to integration to production deployment.

  • Must be able to identify and learn new technologies quickly.

  • Able to work independently gathering requirement and converting to applications

  • Experience in supporting mission critical applications in production

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of design patterns and frameworks

  • Familiar with software security principals and defensive coding best practices

  • Strong analytical skills -- must be able to think critically and independently

  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.

  • Experience translating design mockups and prototypes into working application designs. Demonstrated passion for user experience design and improving usability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as demonstrated by a walkthrough of technical deliverables you have produced

  • Must be a U.S Citizen or a Green Card holder with intent to become a U.S Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certification in Power Platform (PL-900, PL-600, PL-400).

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology

  • Working Knowledge with Git repositories and automated deployments

  • Experience with UiPath and/or other RPA tools.

Base Salary Range: Min: $113,600 - Mid: $147,600 - Max: $181,600 (Location: San Francisco) Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
