The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

This role can be based in either San Francisco or Mountain View (South Bay).

In this role, you will lead a team of strategic finance professionals that serve as the primary finance and strategy partners for LinkedIn’s G&A functions, including CFO, GTO, LP&P, and Comms & Social Impact organizations. Acting as critical connectors across these teams, you will drive resource allocation, ensure financial rigor, and deliver strategic insights to support key initiatives across the business. By combining deep financial expertise with an enterprise-wide perspective, you will enable the G&A functions to operate more efficiently, unlock growth opportunities, and help LinkedIn continue to scale.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive Strategic G&A Initiatives: Shape high-impact programs for the CFO, GTO, Legal, and Comms & SI teams—including geolocation strategies, workforce planning, vendor management, and organizational design—in partnership with cross-functional leaders.

  • Lead Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee long-range and annual planning for headcount, expenses, and capital investments. Deliver accurate, transparent forecasts that inform critical executive decision-making.

  • Optimize Resources & Investments: Evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities across G&A. Provide rigorous financial analysis and recommendations to enhance ROI and ensure alignment with LinkedIn’s broader strategic goals.

  • Enable Operational Excellence: Identify and champion process improvements, cost optimization strategies, and organizational transformations that strengthen and streamline G&A functions, as well as improve how G&A functions support the enterprise.

  • Influence Executive Decisions: Prepare and present data-driven insights and recommendations to executive leadership, enabling informed discussions on company-wide policies, processes, and growth initiatives.

This role will work with business partners and stakeholders across the corporate functions. You will balance both strategic and operational responsibilities to ensure our G&A functions effectively support LinkedIn’s broader mission and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies new opportunities for growth, makes novel recommendations at the enterprise level, and drives strategy development across G&A functions.

  • Serve as the end-to-end finance and strategy partner to the CFO, HR, Legal, and Communications organizations, offering insights on both functional and company-wide priorities.

  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on high-impact initiatives, such as geolocation strategies, workforce planning, talent philosophy, org design, and vendor/outsourcing strategies.

  • Drives alignment by synthesizing problems and communicates point of view to support decision-making on strategic issues across the corporate functions.

  • Leads and drives the development of large and complex workstreams that span across corporate functions..

  • Lead the development and maintenance of forecasts and budgets (headcount, expenses, capital investments, etc.) across multiple corporate functions, ensuring accuracy, predictability, and visibility.

  • Oversee comprehensive financial models and reporting frameworks to support resource allocation decisions and track ROI on critical initiatives (e.g., real estate investments, PR/communications campaigns).

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

  • Proactively develop and coach talent, cultivating a strong bench of future finance leaders capable of supporting LinkedIn’s ongoing growth and evolution.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND a minimum of 12 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of 6 years of people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 9 years of people management experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in the technology industry.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $207,000 to $337,000.

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
