The opportunity
The role of a Digital Grid Senior will be to provide consulting services to Power & Utility clients implementing digital grid programs, capabilities and systems (AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS) resulting in increased value and efficiency.
As a Senior in Technology Transformation Program Delivery, you will be at the forefront of driving and managing technology transformation projects and programs that align with our organizational strategy to achieve desired outcomes. You will provide assurance to leadership by managing timelines, costs, and quality, leading both technical and non-technical project teams in the development and implementation of technology solutions and/or infrastructure.
Your key responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of one or more processes, solutions, and/or projects by delivering agreed activities and applying judgment. You will select appropriate methodologies to inform recommendations, considering success criteria, barriers, risks, and issues. You will be accountable for meeting your own targets which impact the immediate team and may help coordinate the work of junior colleagues or team members. You will also meet performance objectives and metrics set locally. Your time will be spent on:
Defining and executing deliverables.
Tracking deliverable completion and project status.
Regular travel as needed by external clients.
Design and facilitate client meetings and workshops
Identify and implement service delivery improvements to improve the quality of the service provided
Participate in new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions .
Identify and resolve/escalate issues and risks that affect scope, quality, schedule and resources
Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge and enhance client service delivery
Stay current with the latest trends in the industry to be a trusted advisor/subject-matter resource for our clients’ businesses

To thrive in this role, you will need a strong foundation in project and program delivery methods, including Agile and waterfall, and the ability to coach others on relevant processes, tools, techniques, and enabling technologies. You should be able to propose solutions to technical constraints and anticipate bottlenecks in the system development cycle. Additional skills include:
Decision-making based on broad policies and personal knowledge/experience.
Working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Dedication to be coached by higher levels and provide coaching and counsel to junior team members to help them develop
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially around breaking down complex structures into digestible and relevant points for a diverse set of clients and colleagues at all levels
Ability to anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues as appropriate to both internal and client leadership
To qualify for the role, you must have
A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree)
Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant work experience
Proven business or technical work experience in one or more of the following digital grid focus areas: AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS
You will also need to demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
