Google Quantitative Marketing Analyst, Google, Search Marketing in San Francisco, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience designing, executing, and delivering analysis projects, and managing research and measurement agencies.

  • Experience translating and distilling data into marketing recommendations or presentations to key stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in data analysis and business application.

  • Experience in data extraction and manipulation, dashboarding/visualization, experimental design, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.

  • Experience in growth marketing and performance marketing analytics.

  • Ability to understand the details of a problem while at the same time understanding the strategic view.

  • Ability to influence cross-functionally and work effectively across functions and geographies.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

In this role, you will help with marketing strategies for the Search Marketing team looking at the intersection of business objectives and marketing impact. You will drive user analysis to provide valuable business insights that inform marketing programs. You will evaluate and measure the impact of marketing initiatives including integrated campaigns, growth efforts and global partnerships. This is a highly cross functional role and you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of global marketing, product management, analytics and engineering teams to tap into the underlying data, align on key metrics and methodologies, and generate insights to drive user growth.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $87,000-$128,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Work with large, complex data sets across multiple products. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems. Conduct analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations.

  • Execute with limited guidance and proactively take initiative to structure, analyze and execute on work streams and projects.

  • Build and prototype analytics models to provide insights at scale. Develop comprehensive understanding of Google data structures and metrics, advocating for improvements in both products development and business strategy.

  • Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams. Work closely with global marketing, product management, analytics, and engineers to identify opportunities for greater impact.

  • Make business recommendations (to senior executives, global marketers, products) with effective presentation of findings and effectively support ,prioritize and contribute to multiple key projects.
