About the Role

Twitch is a globally renowned brand with a dedicated following across the world. Localization is at the heart of our mission to connect creators with their communities on a global scale.

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Localization Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the management of localization projects, with a particular focus on implementing robust quality assurance frameworks and supporting efforts to implement AI translation solutions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Product, Marketing, Creative, Customer Trust, and Partnerships, both in the US and internationally.

You can work from San Francisco, CA; Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA; New York, NY; or Remote in the US.

You Will

  • Manage end-to-end localization for programs into 27 languages

  • Support team members as needed on launches that require a specific focus on creative asset localization, terminology building and product UI translation

  • Help define and implement efficient and scalable Internationalization quality frameworks and metrics for multiple products and content types across Twitch

  • Improve the localization program by continually evolving processes based on feedback and incorporating industry best practices (AI solutions)

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure highest internationalization and linguistic quality as well as adherence to the Twitch brand and tone of voice

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • 5+ years of localization project/program management experience

  • Experience managing stakeholders, and cross-organizational dependencies

  • Experience with Localization QA and quality metrics

  • Experience managing localization vendors

  • A passion to scale processes, a willingness to learn new technologies, and adapt to ongoing project needs

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and at least one additional language : native Chinese or Japanese preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Smartling (or similar translation management system)

  • Solid understanding of data manipulation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
