Robert Half Legal Administrative Assistant in San Francisco, California

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Legal Administrator based in San Francisco, California.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct minor non-billable research for assigned attorneys

• Enter attorney hours into the time management system and manage contract attorney time as applicable

• Track and prepare monthly expense reports, manage corporate card accounts

• Make travel arrangements ensuring all aspects are taken care of in a timely manner

• Respond promptly to emails requesting assistance, ensuring high levels of service are maintained

• Proofread and prepare legal documents upon attorney request, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

• Manage calendar and contacts to ensure efficient scheduling of individual and group meetings

• Coordinate room reservations, including arranging any beverage/food and AV requirements

• Perform administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, binding, and filing

• Prepare and maintain client/matter forms, engagement letters, and other necessary documents

• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for handling data and generating reports

• Experience in Administrative Assistance is required to support legal team effectively

• Knowledge of Expense Allocation is essential for managing departmental budgets and expenses

• Familiarity with legal terminology and practices related to the role of Legal Administrator

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external entities

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information

• Confidentiality and integrity, due to the sensitive nature of documents and information handled

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative mindset

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred

• Previous experience in a law firm or legal department would be advantageous.
