Description
OVERVIEW:
To help maintain cleanliness and order of Corps building and grounds.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure floors remain clear of all tripping and other hazards
Maintain and ensure all floors are clean, swept, mopped, and/or vacuumed
Maintain and ensure all restrooms are clean, swept, mopped, stocked, and sanitized
Dust and sanitize all hard surfaces
Clean interior windows; power wash exterior windows as needed
Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas, disposing of trash/debris, some plant maintenance
Empty trash receptacles, recycling and compost bins/clean receptacles as needed
Ensure unused areas of the building are locked for safety and security
Perform and document routine inspection
Follow all health, safety regulations, and chemical storage and hygiene best practices
Other related duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
CA Driver’s License (preferred)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to take initiative
Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
Team player
EQUIPMENT USED:
Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
Relevant janitorial and maintenance equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
