A career within Assurance Support services, will provide the opportunity to support our engagement teams and clients by providing advice and counsel on accounting, financial reporting, and strategic business issues. In joining, you’ll help ensure a complete and relevant exchange of information among our consultants and in turn with engagement teams and clients, provide experts advice on a variety of specific topics, support engagement teams in resolving complex issues, and supporting clients and their subsidiaries in evaluating the potential impact of accounting and reporting standard setting initiatives. You’ll develop strong relationships with our engagement teams and established audit clients and enhance our ability to meet greater investor expectations with the challenges of an increasingly complex business environment.

8 year(s) of experience in Audit or audit-related activities or Business Law

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader, emphasizing in corporate governance issues in order to provide advice and counsel on accounting, financial reporting, and strategic business issues pertinent to board of directors and audit committees, which includes leading and/or directing the following:

  • Developing effective thought leadership and presentations that provide insight on the latest governance issues, activities, and trends;

  • Following regulatory rulemaking activities and assessing the impact of these rules on the director community;

  • Consulting with the Firm's partners and staff on governance-related topics that are of concern to clients, assessing the impact of such items from a business perspective, and sharing leading practices;

  • Presenting at, or participate in, internal and external educational forums targeted to the board member community, including those held by prominent business organizations;

  • Coordinating the Firm's governance activities with other prominent business organizations;

  • Gathering and analyzing competitive information in the corporate governance space;

  • Serving as a liaison for the National office and broader market offices to drive knowledge-sharing on corporate governance events and activities; and,

  • Maintaining the Firm's interactive external and internal knowledge sharing websites.

The salary range for this position is: $119,000 - $389,500, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
