Robert Half Financial Reporting Manager in San Francisco, California

Description We are in need of a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in San Francisco, California, 94105, United States. As a key member of our Financial Services team, you will be responsible for various accounting and brokerage functions. This role provides a long-term contract employment opportunity, offering a blend of on-site and remote work, with two days per week based on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer credit.

• Respond and resolve customer inquiries relating to their accounts and credit.

• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary action when needed.

• Apply working knowledge of SEC and FINRA Rules, US GAAP, PCAOB, and AICPA standards in the execution of duties.

• Leverage your expertise in CPA, FINRA, Banking & Brokerage, and US GAAP to enhance efficiency in operations.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all financial reporting.

• Collaborate with the team to achieve brokerage industry objectives and goals.

• Use your skills to improve financial processes and systems.

• Be proactive in obtaining necessary financial certifications as required for the role. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.

• Proficiency in US GAAP principles.

• Knowledge of Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) rules and regulations.

• Experience in Banking and Brokerage is essential.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a team.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• High ethical standards and professionalism, given the sensitive nature of financial information.
