Description:

We are looking for Tax Preparers for the 2024 tax season that review our software-assisted prepared tax returns, ensure everything is correct, and then file the return. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the tax return queue abd escalating complex returns to our seasoned CPA/EA team.

Responsibilities

Reviewing paid tax returns

Filing paid tax returns

Managing escalated returns and troubleshooting

Can commit to working every day

Ability to work diligently, processing 20+ returns/hr

Skills and Requirements

Requirements

2+ years of experience preparing and filing income taxes, either at a software company or at an accounting firm

Must have a valid PTIN

Ideally has EA certification

Familiarity with tax-filing software, such as Drake Software / Drake Zero

Attention to detail, and familiarity with filing income taxes from various states

Fluency or strong understanding of English, verbal and written null
