Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, underwrite, and form recommendations for potential investments

  • Perform acquisition, development and other underwriting responsibilities with a focus on financial analysis and market research

  • Complete financial analysis on various initiatives to add additional value to existing assets

  • Conduct property site inspections and market tours

  • Manage acquisition and disposition due diligence, including coordinating third party consultants and information collection

  • Draft underwriting and market summaries for investment summaries

  • Monitor market and submarket fundamentals, including supply and demand, lease comps, and sales comps

  • Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and other applicable real estate market data

  • Communicate findings (thoughtfully balancing pros and cons) and recommendation of transactions in a professional, thorough manner

  • Help build internal consensus on valuations and other analyses

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar field preferred

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing office acquisitions and development/redevelopment including due diligence and financial analyses

  • Extensive experience building acquisition and development proformas in Excel and ARGUS, with a focus on ROC, ROI, IRR metrics

  • Independent, analytical thinker with great communication and research skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • Knowledge of office assets and experience drafting investment committee memorandums

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Advanced Excel, ARGUS, and Microsoft Office experience are mandatory

The expected base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $155,000 USD annually, plus annual discretionary bonus. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the consideration of many factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the individual’s knowledge, experience, education, qualifications, skills, job location, and the Company’s compensation practices.
