Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in San Francisco, California. The individual will be working in the tech industry, handling full-cycle accounts payable, invoice processing, and expense management in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently, with an increasing volume of invoices on a weekly basis

• Maintain and manage expense reports, including onboarding new users into platforms and approving managers

• Handle all aspects of account payable

• Familiarize yourself with customs for transactions involving international entities

• Oversee the approval hierarchies as needed within AP, ensuring a smooth process for all parties involved

• Use Coupa for accounts payable and Expensify for managing expenses

• Utilize NetSuite alongside other software to efficiently handle accounts payable and process expense reports

• Contribute to the growth of the company by improving and streamlining financial processes

• Handle any expense-related needs as the team grows and travels more frequently.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable is essential

• Experience with NetSuite software is required

• Ability to process and manage expense reports efficiently

• Familiarity with Coupa software is beneficial

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
