Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will screen data base records for availability of supplies, initiate preparation of requisitions for submission to the prime vendor contractor, and obtain information on the availability of requested material(s). You will furnish information to customers on stock availability, oversee stock maintenance, and be responsible for inventory management. You will dispatch new and revised procedures and other printed matter in accordance with distribution records and conduct physical inventories. You will maintain an accurate accounting and reporting system for nonexpendable property and perform standardized property management control processes. You will initiate, prepare, edit, and process requirements for materials or services. You will search prime vendor contract, catalog, records, or other data sources to obtain or correct stock numbers, unit prices, etc., or to find authorized substitutes for stock items. You will follow up on urgently required items, and/or expedite delivery of material to work sites and monitor all aspects of procurement for the materials/services required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing supply, financial and administrative support to a Facilities Division; accurately processing supply transactions; and generating and reviewing reports to ensure correct and timely processing. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
