Job Description:

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. Fleet Deployment Training Program Support (FDTPS) team is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support this vital program with positions available in the Tidewater area, VA, San Diego, CA, Mayport, FL and Everett, WA.

The FDTPS team provides dynamic, quality afloat training to Navy and Marine Corps personnel to ensure a combat ready force capable of performing a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special emphasis is placed on training Carrier and Expeditionary Strike Groups and Amphibious Squadrons staffs and their supporting forces prior to a deployment to ensure they are combat ready.

Duties include:

  • Subject matter expert for respective task requirements (e.g. Academics, Warfare Area(s), Program or Policy support)

  • Navy and/or Defense training operations, policy, doctrine, systems, and staff procedures

  • Managing/ prioritizing large, complex projects involving numerous stakeholders.

  • Team and/or project leader

  • Leading working groups and cross functional teams

  • Leveraging best practices and handling multiple tasks and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity/deliverables

  • Engaging Senior Staff at the Flag Officer/Director/Manager level

  • Conducting fleet training analysis/assessment to identify gaps, training needs and solutions

  • Perform duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's of Science Degree

  • 8 years relevant experience (10 years if no Bachelor’s degree)

  • Specific warfare area knowledge required for different positions such as Integrated Air and Missile Defense, Ballistic Missile Defense, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Surface Warfare, Information Operations and Information Warfare, Intelligence, Strike Warfare, Maritime Security Operations, Electronic Warfare, Cyber Warfare, Knowledge Management, Space Operations, Amphibious Warfare and Expeditionary Warfare.

Security Clearance:

DoD Active Secret or Top Secret/SCI Eligible

The likely salary range for this position is $69,722 - $116,438. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
