Job Description:

The Configuration Management Analyst performs configuration and data management tasks, ensuring adherence to configuration management procedures and policies, as well as contractual requirements. This role documents and tracks all aspects of hardware and software development and modification to create and document baselines. The selected candidate will be responsible for structuring and maintaining all necessary drawings, documents, software files, and bills of material in the ERP system and other databases and verifying authorization and effect on deliverables and incorporating all changes.

Essential Functions:

  • Assign and control part numbers and revisions in the ERP system.

  • Incorporate and maintain Bills of Material (BOM) in the ERP system.

  • Analyze all configuration item documentation including engineering drawings, procurement and build documentation, and Engineering Change Orders (ECO), to determine configuration and changes are accurately captured, identify the effect on deliverable product, and conform to standards.

  • Prepare for and participate in a variety of program meetings and customer meetings as required.

  • Participate in internal and external configuration audits to ensure policies and procedures are followed.

  • Review contract baseline documents for CM requirements.

  • Audit activities as required by program Statement of Work (SOW)

  • Prepare/review Contract/Subcontract Data Requirements List (CDRL/SDRL) submittals and transmit to customers as required.

  • Process as-designed/as-built documentation.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

  • Familiarity with hardware and system level documentation including mechanical drawings and BOMs.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Infor LN ERP system.

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $64,000 - $119,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
