Job Description

A client in the mortgage industry is seeking a Cloud Integration Architect to support their infrastructure and cloud ecosystems as they prepare for a cloud to cloud transition. This individual will be highly functional, supporting cloud networking, security posture, and DevOps.

Core Job Responsibilities

 Architectural Design: Design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure, networking, and security solutions.

 Performance Optimization: Continuously identify and implement optimizations for resource performance, utilization, and minimize cost.

 Technical Leadership: Providing technical guidance and collaborating with cross-organizational leadership and other architects to understand security and compliance requirements and expectations.

 Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research technical requirements to determine if existing technology needs to be replaced or supplemented with new or emerging technology. Provide P.O.C. to department leadership for approval.

 Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for cloud infrastructure, networking, and security landscape.

 Security: Implement and enforce cloud security best practices to protect the organization from potential threats.

Skills and Requirements

Experience architecting and developing in Azure (AWS and Azure is a plus).

 Experience architecting and developing an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Desired State Configuration (DSC) strategy within Microsofts Bicep and / or HashiCorps Terraform platforms.

 Experience architecting, managing, and maintaining container orchestration technologies such as Docker Swarm and Kubernetes.

 Experience architecting, managing, and maintaining CI / CD / CT pipelines.

 Experience with architecting, managing, and maintaining third party Observability platforms such as Grafana, New Relic, DataDog, etc.

 Experience with Linuxs Ansible development platform.

 Experience with QA Automation concepts.

 Advanced troubleshooting skills, testing and problem-solving capabilities in Dev, QA/UAT and Production environments.

 Expert with using a source control system, preferably Git.

 Experience in agile development processes using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, and Teams.

 Bachelor's or equivalent experience in related field preferred, along with a minimum of five years of experience in infrastructure development and progressive leadership experience required. null
