General Summary:

Qualcomm is looking for an experienced Performance Systems Engineer with passion for analyzing and optimizing software running on Snapdragon. Ideal candidate has background to understand and identify system level optimizations across Software & Hardware in areas of Operating System, Kernel, Compiler, Drivers, Assembly Language, CPU microarchitecture and SoC/Memory/Bus architecture.

As a Performance engineer, you'll be owning and driving analysis of complex system level performance aspects and coming up with solutions to optimize performance without impacting power consumption, to deliver best in class system performance for next generation of Android devices using Qualcomm Snapdragon SOC's.

In this role you will work closely with software architects, OS and kernel developers, CPU architects and SOC architects & HW teams to define performance optimization strategies to deliver the best performance on Snapdragon devices. We are looking for a self-starter, with excellent communication skills to drive analysis and optimizations with technical members from broad set of teams across Qualcomm. The candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay range:

$114,400.00 - $171,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
