Description We are in search of a Payroll Specialist to become a part of our team in the hotel industry situated in San Diego, California. The role requires the application of various skills including 'Accounting Software Systems', 'ADP - Financial Services', 'ADP Workforce Now', 'Ceridian', 'Dayforce', 'About Time', 'Accounting Functions', 'Accounts Payable (AP)', 'Auditing', and 'Benefit Functions'. The position holds the responsibility to ensure accurate payroll processing and record keeping.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for payroll processing

• Apply ADP - Financial Services for financial transactions and operations

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for workforce management

• Use Ceridian and Dayforce for human resources management

• Manage time and attendance with About Time software

• Carry out Accounting Functions to maintain financial records

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) effectively

• Perform Auditing tasks for financial and payroll records

• Manage Benefit Functions for employee benefits administration. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a payroll specialist role or similar position within the hotel industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce, and About Time

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in auditing and managing benefit functions

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• Excellent problem-solving/judgement skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines

• Good skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Excellent skills in mathematics and statistics

• Good understanding of labor legislation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
