Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling subassemblies, performing quality inspections, and testing electronic components. This role requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as strong computer skills to navigate and document tasks in the manufacturing execution system.
Responsibilities
Assemble subassemblies as per work instructions using hand and power tools.
Connect wires and harnesses to modules and PCBA’s by hand or with tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, power drills, needle nose pliers, wire strippers, and crimpers.
Complete and document each manufacturing task in the manufacturing execution system (MES).
Install firmware on PCBA and perform functional testing using a laptop.
Troubleshoot and test subassemblies by attaching cables, loading programs, and running scripts.
Ensure all work is tracked in the MES and maintain an electronic device history record.
Follow all work instructions precisely without deviation from the build plan.
Participate in daily stand-up meetings for task assignments.
Collaborate with technicians and supervisors for training and development.
Essential Skills
Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting experience.
Proficiency in using screwdrivers, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, torque wrenches, needle nose pliers, and small power tools.
Strong computer skills, including using Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions on a computer.
Experience in software testing and using tools like oscilloscopes.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience with electro-mechanical subassemblies.
Ability to describe and document troubleshooting processes.
Experience in wiring, oscilloscope usage, electronics, crimping, wire harness assembly, and repair.

Work Environment
Work in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) environment while wearing lab coats and safety glasses. Participate in daily 7 AM stand-up meetings for task assignments. Training includes partnering with a technician and shadowing for the first two months. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.
