Our Information Technology (IT) department is looking for a Manager, IT Endpoint Solutions. This is a local position either in San Diego, CA or Marlborough, MA.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage a team in the day-to-day delivery of best practice desktop engineering support for an enterprise environment of 8000+ seats, including PC, laptop, and Mac and 4000+ mobile devices.

  • Provide hands-on leadership with best practice experience in enterprise desktop deployment and management, and provide coaching, technical guidance, and training to team members.

  • Secure baseline image creation for multiple hardware configurations and oversee application packaging, deployments, documentation, and release control in an Enterprise environment.

  • Leverage expertise with solutions, SCCM, Group Policy, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Intune, and Active Directory.

  • Provide advice, technical consultation, and guidance by analyzing and resolving problems and evaluating alternative means of satisfying user requirements, research and implement new technology to service the client and the team while staying up to date on the latest solutions and communicate with the vendors to ensure the best option is provided.

  • Design deployment solutions for Enterprise-wide rollouts and upgrades.

  • Establish & maintain team Standard Operating Procedures & Change Management procedures.

  • Asset management using integrated software solutions for managing the procurement, deployment & management of IT assets. This includes all elements of Hologic owned IT hardware & software from acquisition through disposal. Software asset management includes managing license compliance & version control on the installed endpoints.

  • Vendor management & budget planning.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in a professional work environment

  • 7+ years of experience with deploying software in a Windows environment

  • 5+ years of experience with managing an enterprise IT environment

  • 5+ years of experience in leadership of complex programs and large deployment projects

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting

  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with operating systems and with diagnosing security patching issues

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11/10, Mac OS, Office 365, SCCM, Mobile Device Management and a variety of tools and best practices in enterprise systems management

  • Ability to develop stable core, standard desktop images, and departmental overlays

  • Experience with BitLocker Administration, Enterprise Encryption & reporting

  • Experience with enterprise patch management, upgrades, deployment, and refresh methodologies

  • Experience with information security, including patching, scans, and testing

  • Knowledge of Apple Business Manager (DEP)

  • Knowledge of ITIL practices

  • Ability to lead a team in developing rigorous testing disciplines to ensure stable computing platforms

  • Ability to provide coaching, technical guidance, and training to team members

  • Ability to guide the team and directly assist with developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, policies, and procedures

  • Ability to secure baseline image creation for multiple hardware configurations

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Required skills and experience

  • BA/BS MIS or CIS (or related technical discipline) desired

  • 8+ years’ in management and administration enterprise endpoints (5,000+ users)

The annualized base salary range for this role is $112,000 to $186,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
