JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining cleanliness of the plant and providing routine maintenance as required to ensure a safe and organized environment.

• Performing daily inspections of ceiling tiles and plant lighting; performing monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, eye wash stations and emergency lighting;

• Performing preventative maintenance (PM) on designated machines and equipment;

• Purchasing safety and manufacturing supplies as requested; cleaning equipment, walls and flooring to meet manufacturing standards;

• Performing simple building repairs including wall patching and painting;

• Coordinating work done by outside vendors;

• Performing quality assurance checks; adhering to quality policy in accordance with ISO requirements.

• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent and six months of work experience, preferably in a production environment.

• Able to communicate, receive, understand and follow verbal and written instructions for duties.

• Basic math and computer skills are required.

• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs., stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods.

• Must be capable of steadily using their hands. Must be able to read and write simple statements.

• Ability to make decisions and have sound judgment.
