SAIC Logistics Analyst in SAN DIEGO, California
Description
SAIC is seeking a mid-level Logistics Analyst to be a key member of an engineering team supporting the US Navy Maritime Expeditionary Standoff Response (MESR) production, and test operations efforts. This role requires an individual who can adapt quickly to emerging requirements, manage multiple logistics tasks efficiently, and communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders. This position is ideal for a highly motivated and detail-oriented logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting innovative engineering solutions. This is an ONSITE role in San Diego, CA.
JOB DUTIES:
Provide logistics support for engineering, technicians, and test operations.
Manage and track supply chain logistics, inventory control, and procurement to ensure operational readiness.
Develop and maintain logistics documentation, reports, and records to support ongoing projects.
Coordinate shipping, receiving, and material handling for engineering, production and test activities.
Work closely with engineers, program managers, and support teams to ensure seamless logistics integration.
Quickly adapt to changing priorities and provide solutions to emerging logistical challenges.
Ensure compliance with DoD and company policies related to logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
Support field operations and test events by ensuring timely delivery of necessary materials and equipment.
Utilize logistics software and tracking systems to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Support the continued development and optimization of existing tracking systems.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors and a minimum (3) three years of relevant experience; Masters degree (1) one year of relevant experience; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance after start
Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and operational teams.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities shift rapidly.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Proficiency with logistics tracking systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and data entry.
Ability to analyze and solve logistical challenges proactively.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
