We are currently seeking talented individuals for our Inventory Control Clerk position!

Here is some of what you’ll do…

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Inventory Control Supervisor, the Inventory Control Clerk will monitor, coordinate and perform duties related to inventory control. The incumbent will process emergency orders and stock orders from vendors, maintains inventory control files and reports.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Place CAT and Non-CAT emergency orders and stock orders.

  • Monitor CAT and Non-CAT parts orders for timely delivery and accuracy.

  • Maintain stock order files, manual price changes and reviews system prices for accuracy.

  • Prepare and submit maintenance on inventory control reports such as unadjusted demand and automatic history transfer.

  • Review suggested stock order reports for allied parts inventory and call vendors to place stock orders.

  • Change inventory records to show parts placed on order and receive parts into the on hand when received from vendors.

  • Perform ongoing review of Non-CAT parts inventory to ensure pricing and min/max levels are current. Identify slow moving inventory and investigate return options with vendors.

  • Track customer backorder, reporting ESD changes to customer daily.

  • Escalate backorders as needed.

  • Review constrained parts list and place orders accordingly.

  • Other duties as assigned by Inventory Control Supervisor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Must have one year of warehouse or general office experience.

  • Inventory Control experience a plus.

  • Must be able to read and understand inventory reports.

  • PC skills required.

  • Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter

  • Ability to work with customers and employees in a courteous and professional manner.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Walking and moving about on foot often up and down stairs.

  • Handling: Works with hands.

  • Lifting: May lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.

  • Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.

  • Standing: Remains in standing position, if required to perform various functions of the job.

  • Vision: Reads paperwork and computer screens.

  • Talking: Communications via telecommunications and in person.

  • Sitting: Sits at desk. Sits for long periods of time.

    ENVIRONMENTAL:

  • Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.

  • Temp/Weather: Works in an office environment.
